Longer Version: Rescued cobra released into forests of southern India
A deadly cobra snake was rescued from a residential area in southern India's Karnataka on December 9. The incident took place in Virajpet of Kodagu.
Visuals show the the rescuer attempting to catch the venomous snake. Later, it can be seen being released into the woods by the rescuer. He places the sac containing the snake on the ground before forcing the snake out of the bag.
He then proceeds to stand in front of the hooded snake as if having a non-verbal conversation with the reptile.
The snake can also be seen gaping at the man in complete awe of him. It does not look away even for a moment.
The man then tries to tease the snake into leaving the spot using the same bag the snake was brought in. On being nudged, the snake turns and tries to escape before the man catches hold of the reptile's tail.
On being let go, the snake proceeds to enter the dense forests of Coorg.
