North China students left confused as their tap water turns luminous pink
Tap water in a middle school's dorms and a nearby residential building turned a luminous pink colour in northern China.
The video was captured in the city of Shuozhou in Shanxi Province on December 8.
Bright pink water is seen running out of the taps in a bathroom and kitchen.
According to the authorities, a heating supply company added the pigment into the water in the heating pipes to avoid people to stealing the water.
The strange issue may be down to the heating pipe being messed up with the water pipe, causing the pink water to run out of the taps.
The water supply has returned back to normal. The video was provided by local media with permission.
