An amazing 88-year-old grandma still drives a passenger motorcycle around her village the whole day for work.

Amparo Alvior Estilong rides a manual transmission motorbike attached to a sidecar which can carry up to three people.

The elderly woman wakes up around 5 a.m. before hailing passengers in their village in Cavite province, the Philippines, and returns home when the day ends around 6 p.m.

Footage shows the grey-haired elderly woman riding the bike while telling stories to her passenger.

Amparo now finds the vehicle heavy for her old age, but she is still seen smiling happily every day while driving along the road.

Her neighbour, Logie Fernandez was heading for work when he boarded the old woman's bike on December 3.

The worker said he was inspired by his neighbour's dedication to provide for her family despite her old age.

He said: "She is actually famous in our village for being a hardworking person. I knew she was old, but I was surprised when she told me her age."

Logie added that the old woman is living with her nine children after her husband died but she wants to pay for her maintenance medicines and "not become a burden."

He said: "She was so cool and an eye-opener for the young people not to be lazy. She should be resting at home, but instead she's out in the streets trying to earn money."

Amparo earns around 200 pesos a day, or a little more than 3 GBP, which she uses to buy her vitamins and food for her grandkids.
