Hundreds queue for food packages in Milan, Italy
Hundreds were seen queueing outside a non-profit organisation that distributes free meals in Milan, Italy, on Saturday (December 12), causing outrage online.
The video filmed by @preppy57 has gathered more than 300,000 views as of Monday morning.
It shows men, women and children queueing outside Pane Quotidiano early on Saturday.
Some comments read "a heartbreaking image" or "it is unbearable to see so many people who can't provide food for themselves."
According to local media, thousands of people queue every day to receive a hot meal and food packages from Pane Quotidiano.
On its website, the organisation says its goal "is to provide food for those in need; every day, for free."
