Beaches across Queensland, Australia, have been engulfed in cloud-like sea foam in the wake of stormy weather on Monday (December 14).

Footage captured by Twitter user @sussie_sussie shows beachgoers at Snappers Rocks on the Gold Coast enjoying the bizarre result of the bad weather.

The coastal parts of Queensland have been hit with torrential downpours and heavy winds prompting a severe weather warning that has been issued for a 500-kilometre (310 miles) stretch of the Queensland coast from Coolangatta to Hervey Bay.
