Terrifying moment tiger attacks trainer during circus show in northern China
A tiger attacked a trainer during a circus show in northern China.
The horrifying video, filmed in the city of Yuncheng in Shanxi Province on December 11, shows a tiger suddenly tackling a trainer and pinning him to the ground.
Three members of staff rushed to rescue their colleague. One of them was seen using a stick to hit the tiger repeatedly to try to drive it away.
Three trainers suffered injuries in different degrees with one of them losing a finger.
Since the tiger was inside the cage, no members of the audience were injured.
According to reports, the tiger has had its teeth removed so the trainers only suffered minor injuries.
The police are investigating the case.
