Daredevil spotted 'surfing' tram in Sheffield, UK
A video has emerged of a man hanging onto the back of a moving tram in Sheffield, UK.
The daredevil risks serious injury to hitch a free ride by hanging onto the windscreen wipers of the tram and crouching low to avoid detection.
The footage was captured by local resident Paul Pashley on Friday while he was driving to a music concert with a friend.
“On way to my gig and we came across a 'tram surfer' en route,” Paul later wrote online.
“We couldn't believe our eyes so filmed this. We missed the bit just after where he jumped off of the tram, stretched his legs and arms. Waited for the bell then jumped back on giving us a thumbs up as the tracks moved in separate direction to the road.”
