An amazing video has emerged of a rare, exotic animal in a garden in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, UK,

The footage, captured by Anna Shearer in her parents’ back garden on Saturday, shows a 'South American Coati' scurrying up a tree.

According to Anna, the family spotted the coati playing with their dogs and immediately called the RSPCA, who sent a wildlife specialist to the house to help capture the animal.

However, despite several attempts, the specialist was unable to capture the coati which remains at large and occasionally revisits the garden to play with the family pets.

"I heard the dogs barking in the garden (I have a springer spaniel and a jack russell) and when I came outside it looked like there was a third dog,” Anna later wrote online.

“When I took a closer look I saw it was not a dog but it seemed to be playing with my dogs. When it ran up a tree and was able to climb it I then I realised it was definitely not a dog!

“We watched it in the tree and it came up close to the camera which is where I was able to film the animal on my phone. The animal disappeared for a few hours and appeared again on the brick wall next to our pool.

“I then rang the RSPCA who recommended a wildlife specialist company who would come and capture the animal because it looked like its tail had been bitten off.

“I rang the company 'Tiddly Tinkles' who were unable to capture it but confirmed they thought it was a baby bear which was shocking to hear.

“We warned the neighbours who had also reported it to the RSPCA but were told they were unable to touch it as has it teeth and could bite. The company came back at night to use night vision goggles but were unable to capture the creature.

“Since then, the animal has come back and continues to play with my dogs. My parents have been feeding it grapes but we are unable to catch it!”
