A new eruption started at Kilauea volcano on Hawaii’s Big Island Sunday night (December 20).

The USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory reported that they detected glow within Halemaʻumaʻu crater at the summit of Kīlauea Volcano at about 9.30 p.m.
