This Uber driver has gone all out this Christmas by embellishing her wheelchair-accessible van with lots of festive decorations to spread the yuletide cheer for every passenger.

Footage from December 20 shows Forest Atkinson showing off the van, with various trimmings including a full Christmas tree, tinsel and fairy lights as she dons a Santa Claus outfit with a protective facemask.

Atkinson told Newsflare: "I made my van look like this so people could
still get some joy this Christmas!

"And I honesty put in a lot of work to make it safe!

"The tree is drilled to a thick piece of wood so it doesn’t move and the back of the tree is tied to the glove compartment!

"I wanted to wow people when they got into the van ... people who just order an Uber are surprised by this van and it’s amazing every time!

"I have 160 five star [reviews] in the last month!

"Even with this Christmas and everyone being apart, it’s silly little things that make a smile like this that can bring people together!"

Atkinson explained that she gets joy from young kids riding along and getting free candy, something she is no stranger to as she went viral in December 2017 for handing out 1,800 pieces of candy to Ottowa bus drivers.

"Children love it so much that one time I had a mother and a daughter, probably about the age of seven, and they were only in the car for about 10 minutes and when I reach their destinations she didn’t wanna get out of the van.

"A lot of parents have come into the car, I was so happy because their children get free candy canes and they always tell me that their child didn’t get much Christmas this year and to be in this van even for a short drive gives them some highlight during this holiday season."
