Chinese military recruit saved after dropping live grenade at his feet
An instructor saved a new recruit after he accidentally dropped a live grenade during training in northern China.
The video, shot in the city of Zhangjiakou in Hebei Province on December 14, shows the new recruit named Li pulling the safety pin on a grenade and attempting to throw it.
However, the grenade dropped beside the recruit's feet. The instructor named Cui Chengliang then dragged Li to the other side of some nearby sandbags.
Thanks to the instructor's quick reactions, no one was injured.
