Adorable moment female pet dog opens metal gate so she can see her 'boyfriend'
This is the amusing moment a female pet dog opened a metal gate using her paws - so she could meet her boyfriend.
Pet owner Maria Kristelle Reyes noticed her restless dog trying to leave their front yard in Pampanga City, the Philippines on December 17.
In the video, the four-year-old female Aspin pooch named Snoopy is seen standing on its hind legs while pushing the red gate latch to escape the yard.
The dogs were then reunited and greeted each other while their owners watched them from the windows, laughing with amusement.
At first, Maria thought the brown dog only wanted to play after being inside the house for hours.
However, when she looked outside, there was a male dog owned by one of their neighbours waiting eagerly for her pet.
Maria said: "This is my first time seeing her escape like that, and it turns out it was all because of a boyfriend. It was really funny."
Snoopy and her male friend sometimes play with each other when the gate is left unlocked and she can sneak outside.
Maria added that her beloved dog did not have any dog companions inside their house so she may have been lonely.
She said: "My dog is always inside the house because we live near the main roads, we don't want her to be hit by passing cars."
