Emotional! Australian girl reduced to tears as she is surprised with pet rabbit for Christmas
This was the moment a 14-year-old girl in Shellharbour, Australia was reduced to tears as she was surprised with a pet rabbit for Christmas.
After unwrapping a box she picks out the tiny bunny and holds it close to her chest as she is overcome with emotion.
Filmer Rachel Imisides said: "My sister is 14 and had been asking for a bunny for months.
"My parents and I kept telling her that she couldn't have one and that it would never work at our place because we have other pet but before Christmas, my parents secretly decided to get her one anyway.
"We had to pick up the bunny a week before Christmas and had such a hard time keeping it a secret from her because she is so good at figuring out surprises even though she LOVES surprises.
"The bunny lived in my office for a day went to my boyfriend's house for a week and stayed in our back shed for a few nights.
"It got to the point that I was making her wash dishes with me on Christmas morning to distract her from my parents wrapping the rabbit and she was so angry.
"In the end, our efforts were so worth it because as you can see she was completely surprised and completely stoked. It was classic.
"She has since forgiven me for making her wash dishes on Christmas."
This surprise was filmed on December 25, 2017.
