This is the heartwarming moment a Marine walked into his parents’ Minneapolis, Minnesota home to give them the best Christmas surprise on December 5.

Logan left for the Marines in June 2020 and due to Covid-19, his family was not able to attend his graduation in September. Logan’s parents were sad about missing the occasion, even more so because they weren’t sure when they would get to see him next. Under the impression that he would not be home until spring of 2021, they were particularly down about not seeing him for Christmas.

In October Logan reached out to his sister Taylor to discuss the possibility of a surprise visit and soon after he received orders that he could go home on December 5. On the Sunday Logan returned, Taylor had told her parents she needed to stop by drop off something for the truck. When Logan walked through the door his parents were overwhelmed with joy.

Speaking about the video Taylor said: “My brother left in June 2020 for the Marines and due to Covid we were not able to go out for his graduation in September and my parents did not know when they would see him next.

"He got his orders that he could come home on December 5 and we did not tell anybody. I told my parents that I needed to stop over to drop off something for my truck. It was a low-key quiet Sunday night. They were very down that they would not see him for Christmas and they have been missing him tremendously.

"This Christmas will be the best yet since he will be home to spend it with our family. I decided to make a video out of it to spread some joy and happiness for people in the midst of the chaos in this world right now.”
