Firefighters helped each other to take off frozen uniforms after working for four hours to extinguish fires in temperatures of -26C in northwest China.

The video, filmed in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang Province on December 22, shows two firemen helping each other to take off their frozen trousers.

According to reports, the firefighters worked for four hours to extinguish a garbage fire.

Because of the cold weather, their wet uniforms were frozen and were too difficult to be removed by themselves.

12月22日16时，新疆博州消防救援支队119指挥中心接到报警称，位于博乐市团结路1号垃圾场路边的垃圾堆垛起火。接到报警后，119指挥中心迅速调派博乐市健康路消防救援站2车8人前往处置。
到达现场后，消防指战员立即出两支水枪，对着火的垃圾堆垛进行灭火。经过4个小时的奋力扑救，20时,火灾处置完毕。由于气温过低，消防员准备脱下战斗服的时候，发现战斗服已经被冻成了硬邦邦的“盔甲”，凭借自己的能力根本没有办法把战斗服从身上脱下来。最后，消防员们互相帮忙，为战友们卸下了这身坚实的“盔甲”。

回到车上，消防员们换好衣服，吃上了早已为他们准备好的鸡腿，喝上了热腾腾的开水，冻僵的身体也逐渐暖和起来。
博乐市健康路消防救援站指导员庞阳说：“昨天（12月22日）我们辖区出了一场警，处置完已经是下午八点左右，当时室外温度是零下26摄氏度。我们的消防员处置完准备脱战斗服的时候，就发现这个被水打湿的战斗服根本没有办法脱下来，因为腿打不了弯，就连坐下都很困难。最后他们就互相帮忙，把这个战斗服可以说是从身上好不容易脱了下来。”
