"We made an unusual "coronavirus" (cake), this is a "coronavirus" who smiles and looks a little bit nervous because nowadays we can kill it with the weapons we have, namely the masks, the pills and the gloves shown on the cake. In the future, we will make a second cake that will be the defeated coronavirus been killed with the vaccine. But for that, we have to wait for a while."
Mr. Papadopoulos also shared a touching story of a little girl aged 6 on her birthday who draws the coronavirus cake, only to share it with her schoolmates via online classroom, since celebrating parties are not allowed. (timestamp 01:24-02:26)
"So now I want to show you how this coronavirus cake sweetly influences children's imagination. This little girl had her birthday and came to order this coronavirus cake she liked so much, but her mom thought it was a very large cake since they can not have a birthday party with other kids as guests to share it. So she told the girl an excuse, that it is an expensive cake so they can not afford it. The little girl who had her birthday the next day and had an online lesson with the other children in kindergarten, draw this cake during the night and in the morning when they had the lesson, showed them this cake painting on-camera and told them "I wanted us all to be together and have such a cake for my birthday but because it costs 1000 euros and my mom cannot afford it, I painted it for all of you. So let us celebrate all together." I think for us that's the spirit of Christmas." says the pastry chef
