This is the shocking moment a pickup lost control after colliding with another vehicle and crashed into a road barrier in Thailand.

The speeding pickup truck had nudged another motorist on the highway in Thai capital Bangkok on December 20 evening.

It was approaching a bigger truck and tried to overtake before brushing with it and losing control.

The driver tried to recover control of the wheel but the car skidded to the left side lane and slammed onto
the concrete barrier.

Three people onboard, the driver Ekkachai Anusorn, 25, and his passengers Krantharant Jewluejit, 23, and Orachor Jansuk, 24 were injured from the crash.

The bigger truck's driver, Somchai Laewoharn, 52, pulled up and immediately called the rescuers to help the motorists.

He said he was driving with normal speed when he felt a strong bump into his truck from behind.

Somchai said: "It happened really fast, I did not have time to avoid them because they were tailing me behind. I called the rescuers to help them."

Paramedics arrived and provided first aid to the injured before they were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Speaking after, the pickup truck's driver, Ekkachai, said he had no recollection of what happened before the car crash.

Police officers are still investigating the incident and had taken the dashcam footage as evidence.
