Amusing video of pedestrian in Storm Bella floods.
An amusing video has emerged of a pedestrian trying to cross through floodwaters today (27th December) in West Yorkshire. Barnsdale Road flooded between Castleford & Allerton Bywater this afternoon after the River Aire burst it's banks nearby and had to be closed to motorists. One pedestrian was determined to make it to the other side by scaling a fence and shimmying along. His attempt took approximately 15 minutes but was eventually picked up by a passing motorist in a 4x4, who gave him a lift to dry land. The flooding happened after Storm Bella brought strong winds and heavy rain to the region.
