A toll booth worker in the northern Indian town of Faridabad narrowly avoided being crushed by a large truck on January 1.

CCTV footage captured the moment where the truck driver is admitted to passing the toll booth.

The back end of the truck, at an oblique angle, goes past pulling down the toll booth with the worker still inside.

Additional footage shows the carnage within the confined space of the booth where the worker manages to avoid the walls that come crashing down and eventually come out unscathed.

Local police have filed a case against the truck driver.

They said he endangered the worker's life and destroyed property worth about seven lakh rupees (7,000 GBP).

This was the moment a negligent truck driver hit a toll booth cabin. While the collision uprooted the cabin and destroyed it completely, an executive working inside survived miraculously.

The incident occurred in Faridabad in northern India on January 1.

Naseem, the executive, who was on duty collected toll from a truck and let it pass. The driver made a small turn before clearing the lane fully and hit the cabin with the rear end of his vehicle.

Though the impact was enough to destroy the cabin and send Naseem crashing down, he emerged unscathed.
