The Indonesian government has begun distributing the Sinovac covid-19 vaccine to 34 provinces. Distribution begins on January 3, 2021, using air and land routes.
In order for the distribution of vaccines to arrive safely to the destination areas, the Indonesian government has deployed troops from the Command Headquarters (Mako) of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) of the Indonesian Police, to

The Sinovac vaccine was started on Sunday, January 3 from the Bio Farma office, Bandung, West Java, by land to the island of Sumatra. They also crossed the Sunda Strait, and

For West Sumatra, 36 thousand doses of vaccine were delivered, which were delivered directly to the Health Service warehouse. 36 thousand doses of vaccine are intended for 18 thousand health workers.

According to the commander of the escort team, First Inspector Abdul Aziz, strict supervision was carried out because of the importance of vaccines for handling the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Sinovac vaccine itself came to Indonesia on December 7, 2020, totaling 1.2 million doses.
