HGV truck struck by ice chunks flying off passing vehicle
I WAS WORKING DELIVERING GROCERY PRODUCTS ON NEW YEARS EVE,
A PASSING VAN THAT HAD NOT CLEARED THE SNOW / ICE FROM THE VEHICLE PASSED MY TRUCK ON THE MOTORWAY, AS HE PASSED THE ICE / SNOW FLEW OFF DRAMATICALLY SPIRALLING IN THE AIR AND CAUSED A CAR TO BRAKE HARD , ALSO STRIKING MY HGV.
LUCKILY THERE WAS NO VISIBLE DAMAGE TO MY TRUCK BUT IT DID HIT HARD.
THIS HAPPENNED ON THE M62 JUNCTION 7 , WIDNES EXIT.
