As the world watched scenes of protesters taking over the US Capitol in Washington, D.C., this kitten was more interested in watching birds videos.
The cute clip shows 10-week-old Purre - a Maine Coon mix - engrossed in a video featuring birds on a phone as the alarming news is broadcast in the background.
Purre's owner said: "We were watching the news unfold on TV last night while Purre, our 10-week old Maine Coon mix kitten, was running around like a maniac.
"To keep him occupied we put on some bird videos on a phone and put it on front of him, so we could keep following the news from Washington, D.C. while the kitten was watching birds in blissful ignorance of the events happening."
The video was captured in Hol, Norway.
