A low-hanging cloud of freezing mist covered the valley surrounding the Welsh town of Llangollen on January 7.

Footage shows the snow-covered hills as the sun rises in the distance, with the mist within the valley.

As temperatures plummet, Wales has been issued a yellow warning for snow and ice by the Met Office.

Five centimetres of snow is expected to fall in areas with hills and mountains and temperatures reaching -3 degrees Celsius.
