This is a mesmerising CMY (cyan, magenta and yellow) cube that is said to create an "ever-changing spectrum of colour" when held up to a source of light and rotated.

Footage from December 27 shows the cool gadget in action on Copacabana Beach in Australia's New South Wales.

When spun in the sunlight, the cube is able to combine several of the three primary colours creating several secondary colours.

It works best when your out in the sun but under shade so it’s not reflecting back the sunlight. You can find around 12 different colours and it’s a really great way to learn about the colour spectrum, especially for students!
It also creates beautiful light reflections when shining a light directly on it. It can also be used in photography!
