A railway clerk saved the life of a woman who got stuck in the passage between a moving train and platform in central India's Madhya Pradesh on January 8. The incident took place at the Ujjain Junction railway station.

CCTV footage witnessing the incident features a train leaving the platform. Within moments, a woman appears clinging onto the door of the train while being stuck in the space between the locomotive and the platform. Instantly, a railway clerk, along with a local, rushed to her rescue. The duo pulls the woman to safety and rescue her from getting crushed under the train. Onlookers gather around to behold the experience.

The woman attempted to board the Indore-Delhi Intercity-Express when she slipped into the passage between the moving locomotive and the platform. She got dragged along with the train for a distance before being pulled to safety.

A vigilant railway commercial clerk, identified as Bhupendra Singh, pulled her to safety, and was recognized for his efforts. However, the woman sustained some injuries and was given immediate medical attention.
