Father becomes local star after making DIY digger from waste for his two sons
A dad from Palayad village, western India, has become a local star after making a small homemade JCB digger for his two sons Yadhav Krishna, 11, and Yoshu Krishna, 14.
Biju, who is a building contractor and architect by profession, says he didn’t spend any amount of money, instead he used spare scrap material to construct the digger.
Footage from January 10 shows the 35-kilogram digger at work.
Biju told the filmer he made the digger because all the schools are closed due to COVID-19, and his sons are at home for too long. So, to teach them something unique, he made the machine, which can be used for vegetable cultivation and reduces the time his kids spend on their phones.
