Two smart parrots played basketball and shot a ball into a miniature hoop.

Bird enthusiast Angelo Siongco recorded his cute pets at home in Bataan province, the Philippines on November 10.

The yellow bird is named Thursday and its blue-feathered friend is named Monday.

Angelo set up a small hoop for the pets and taught them how to shoot a small rattan ball while running across the mini court.

He threw the ball on the board and the first bird catching and shooting it into the hoop would get a delicious treat.

The birds' owner said: "As a bird lover I feel happy and satisfied every time I see the achievement my birds reached."

Angelo mentioned that he taught tricks to birds as a hobby and also made money from it sometimes.
