Chinese hotel transforms spa bath into hotpot by pouring in hundreds of chillis
A hotel in northern China transformed a spa bath into a hotpot by pouring in hundreds of vegetables including chillis.
The interesting video, shot in the city of Harbin in Heilongjiang Province on November 24, 2020, shows hotel staff throwing sliced radish and chilli peppers into the hot spring for customers to bath inside.
According to reports, the "plain broth" side of the two-flavour hotpot had dates and milk, while the "spicy broth" side had a mixture of fake and real chillis.
Some people thought it was a waste of food but the person in charge said the chillis and vegetables are like herbs which can be absorbed by customers' bodies.
