Video captured the moment of Drivers tie ropes to wheels to move on ice-covered roads in Lao Cai, Vietnam.
The record low temperature made the northern part of Vietnam snow and icy. This is a rare weather phenomenon in this area. Low temperatures have made roads in the mountainous north of Vietnam covered with ice and very slippery. Tires in Vietnam are originally designed not for snowy roads, so cars cannot move.
The driver used ropes tied around the wheel to create friction to help the car move.
In the end, the driver succeeded and drove off the icy road. The driver said that this is very effective if there is no dedicated chain and the vehicle is stuck in the hills. However, the rope must be sturdy and must not be tied too long to avoid being caught on the wheel.
