This is the moment an alert RPF cop saved the life of a woman by hauling her to safety after she fell from a moving train in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, northern India.

The CCTV footage shows a train leaving the platform as a woman soon tries to deboard the train, her feet slips off the footboard and she falls in between the train and the platform as a commuter from inside the train holds her hand for support.

Soon an alert cop identified as Vinita Kumari watches the mishap unfold in front of her eyes and rushes to save the woman from being crushed in between the platform and the moving carriage of the train.

The incident is of 13th January 2021. The woman was on board the Gomti express and wanted to deboard the running train when the incident took place.

The Divisional Railway Manager Sanjay Tripathi saw the brave act of the RPF constable and has said that she will be awarded for her bravery and quick action in saving the life of the woman.
