A strong wind storm struck and the Pacific Northwest on Wednesday, January 13, causing severe damages such as downed power lines and trees, and road closures.

According to report, a woman in her 40s died after a tree fell on her car in Spokane.

The National Weather Service said, nearly 560,000 homes lost power across the region.
