Twenty-five years ago, on January 7-8, 1996 the Blizzard of '96 hit Philadelphia, PA dumping a record 30.7 inches of snow. The storm closed schools and businesses for days and roads had to be cleared with large front end loaders. The video shows the heavy snow falling along with the high winds which resulted in snow drifts around cars, decks, doors and awnings. The video also shows people attempting to dig their cars out.
