Vintage car rally - attracts many in the capital city of Tamilnadu
For fans of vintage cars and bikes, Chennai was was the place to be on Sunday.
The 19-year-old Madras Heritage Motoring Club had organised its first event of the year and it drew visitors from all over the city.
As many as 64 cars and 18 motorbikes were on display.
Working replicas of the 1886 Benz patent motorwagen, the first automobile propelled by an internal combustion engine, and the 1896 Ford quadricycle, which was Henry Ford’s first experimental automobile, were the biggest attractions.
Enthusiasts visited with their families and several were seen taking selfies with the vintage cars.
