Drone footage shows the mass of bodies taking part in the annual Royal Shrovetide football match, said to be the world's oldest, largest, longest game of its kind.

The game is played in Ashbourne in Derbyshire between the Up'ards, those born north of the River Henmore that divides the town, and the Down'ards, those born south of the river.

The pitch is between two watermills, Sturston Mill and Clifton Mill, about three miles apart.

This drone footage was captured in February 2015.
