Kadaknath chicken quarantined after the spread of bird influenza in central India's Madhya Pradesh on January 15. The incident took place in Sagar district.

Visuals witnessing the incident feature an Indian breed of chicken named Kadaknath. Due to the spread of bird flu, these fowls are being quarantined in rearing centers. Medicines are sprayed and dispersed around the area to protect them. Drugs are also given to the poultry birds to immune them from further damage. Doctors are also witnessed monitoring these chickens along with the caregivers.

The security of Kadaknath chickens has been increased in the district amid cases of bird flu. Caution is being exercised at the rearing centers, and the entry of persons other than caregivers has also been stopped. Arrangements have been made outside the poultry farms to prevent any external infection.

Panic ensued amid the locals after the confirmation of bird flu in Kadaknath in Jhabua. Farming has been initiated in Sagar for the last few months. Around 500 chickens were brought here under the livelihood mission, and they have laid 200 eggs till now.
