Fisherman Reels In Seagull Instead Of Fish
A fisherman was baffled after he reeled in a seagull while sailing off the coast with tourists in southern Thailand.
The group set out from Krabi province in the Andaman sea hoping to catch a big fish for the holidays on November 15.
Santad, the captain said one of the men were holding the fishing rod when suddenly a flock of seagull flew past their boat.
When they looked at the fishing hook, they realised that instead of a giant fish they had been hoping for, they had caught a seagull.
Santad said: "The birds had all the fish and even ate our bait. When I was trying to set it free, it didn't even stop pecking at me."
The seagull was released and unharmed.
