Two Pythons have been rescued from the new dam of Palli Gumula village on the outskirts of Berhampur town in Odisha state in Eastern India

The snakes clung on to the JCB crane while a drain of the new dam was being dug as a part of the beautification process.

A 4-foot-long python entered into the trunk of the JCB crane while another reptile entered the vehicle's engine.

Snake Helpline member Swadhin Kumar Sahu arrived with his associates Srikant Nahak and Sandeep Sethi for the rescue of the giant crawlers.

The seven-foot-tall snake was first rescued. After three long hours of marathon rescue operation another Python measuring at least 11 foot was also rescued.

Finally, the villagers and the local sarpanch thanked the Snake Helpline members for their dedicated service and hard work for rescuing the Large python Snake.
