The Head of South Kalimantan Police in Borneo island, Indonesia, evacuated a mother who had been trapped in flooding for several days.

The rescue operation, which used a make-shift boat made from drums, took place on Monday (January 18).

According to local media, the woman, who lives alone, was experiencing pain in her leg and couldn't escape the high floodwater and became trapped in her home.

Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated, and more than a dozen people have been killed due to flooding on Indonesia’s Borneo island.
