A security camera captured the moment this family from Fairfield, Ohio celebrate as their 1-year-old daughter made her first steps.

Footage recorded on January 17 shows the Holmes family in their front room while 1-year-old Olivia stumbles across from a chair into the middle of the room.

Her dad Elliot and brothers, Allon and EJ, all celebrate as they witness Olivia's first steps.

Mum Rakesha said: "We were watching the Sunday morning service via live stream while my daughter played on the floor.

"All of a sudden while standing up on a chair she just starts walking and made it halfway across the room. It was her first time walking.

"We tried our best to contain our excitement until she finished so we wouldn't distract her."
