A leopard was trapped in an enormous cage set by the forest officials in southern India's Karnataka on January 20. The incident took place in Singonahalli in Tumkur district.

Visuals witnessing the incident feature a giant green cage set amid farmland with a leopard trapped inside it. The mammal glances at the onlookers while it is confined within the cage. The forest officials tranquilize the wild cat by shooting a dart at it. Locals and staff gather nearby to behold this experience.

The Karnataka Forest Department trapped and confined a leopard after panic ensued amid the locals regarding it. This wild cat was caught and later tranquilized by the officials. The team was headed by Girish S C, Deputy Conservator of Forest (DCF), and K. T. Manjunath, Range Forest Officer (RFO) of the Tumkur division. They particularly constructed a massive cage to be placed amid land and lured the animal in it.
