Elderly Chinese woman rides toy car back home from work
An elderly woman was spotted riding a toy car back home at late night in eastern China.
The video, shot in the city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province on January 18, shows a 76-year-old woman riding an animal-shaped car along a road in dark.
According to reports, the woman named Hou was a toy car rental operator in a park.
Since Hou suffers leg pain, her son normally sent her to work and picked her up after she finished work.
Since her son went on a business trips for several days, and the park was not far away from her house, Hou decided to ride toy cars back home instead of walking.
The police discovered Hou's vehicle and warned her about road traffic laws and regulations.
Hou realised it was not safe to ride toy cars on road and promised she would not do it again.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
