Longer version_Man crafts wooden bike out of passion in southern India
A man sculpted a wooden bike in southern India's Kerala in November 2020. The incident took place in Malappuram.
Visuals witnessing the incident feature a man sculpting a wooden replica of Royal Enfield in his house. He uses teak woods to carve his bike as it is more durable than most logs.
He assembles all the components of the vehicle himself and applies varnish to give it a shine. He also models the wheels and applies a spray on them in his backyard to make them look more authentic.
After gathering all the elements and installing them in the right place, he reveals them to the public. He further adds a number plate to it displaying " KL-71-9986".
The man identified was Jithin, an electrician by profession. He carved this bike out of his passionate love for them.
He used two teak hardwood trees to craft a replica of the Royal Enfield Bullet. It took him almost two years to construct this eye-catchy masterpiece with an amount of Rs.1.2 lakh (USD 1,641).
