Tunisian protesters have clashed with police in several cities, including the capital Tunis.

Footage from Janaury 19 shows protesters clashing with security forces on what was the fifth consecutive night of demonstrations.

Protests were prompted by a bad economy, which has left a third of Tunisia's youth unemployed and a fifth of the whole country in poverty, according to the National Institute of Statistics.

Since demonstrations began last Friday (January 15) over 600 arrests have been made.
