Shocking moment two wheels come loose from truck
This is the shocking moment TWO WHEELS came loose from a truck as it drove along the road.
The 18-wheeler was delivering several tonnes of gravel to Samut Prakan when the wheels detached in Chachoengsao province, Thailand on January 17.
The first wheel came loose and almost hit an approaching scooter rider in the opposite lane.
After feeling a bump at the rear, the driver slowed down but another wheel detached and rolled over to the bushes on the roadside.
No one was injured in the accident but the driver had to wait for at least an hour before a mechanic arrived to help him with the repairs.
The truck driver, Somchai Kitmanee, said: ‘I was relieved when I checked and no one was hit by the wheels and there was no major damage. It would have been very expensive.’
After delivering the gravel, the truck was checked again in the repair shop to find the cause of the accident.
