A couple of elephants entered and wreaked havoc inside a rock temple in the central province of Sri Lanka on January 7. 

The incident took place in the Pidurangala rock temple, located in Sigiriya, an ancient rock fortress in the northern Matale District near Dambulla town.

Footage of the event shows an elephant pushing a large pot over and crushing several plants underneath its feet.

The elephant duo also munched on the greens planted in the premises while trespassing.

The elephant duo trespassed into the rock temple's premises and wreaked havoc in the region. The jumbos destroyed several pots, pillars, and lights. They also broke branches of the trees in the area while munching on them.
