Kind-hearted villagers rescue elderly man after his three-wheeler falls into river
Kind-hearted villagers rescued an elderly man after his three-wheeler fell into a river in eastern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Changshu in Jiangsu Province on January 13, shows a three-wheeler with an elderly man in his 80s sliding down backwards on a slope and finally dropping into a river.
A man ran to the site with a stainless steel pipe and put it into the river for the elderly man to grab.
More passersby gathered to help rescue the elderly man. Someone tied a rope to the elderly man's waist and four people lifted him up together to bring him back to safety.
The police arrived on site in only ten minutes and sent the elderly man to hospital for a check-up.
Fortunately, the old man was not injured seriously and has fully recovered.
