A male leopard was saved and rescued from northern India's Uttarakhand on January 23. The incident took place in the Sahaspur forest range.

A video witnessing the incident features a group of forest officials tranquillizing a male leopard near a forest during the day.

After immobilizing him, they cover his face with a piece of cloth and place a net over him to restrain his movement. After successfully doing so, they begin to break a wooden log and a wire that trapped and entangled the mammal.

After cutting through the coil that is intertwined around the body of the wild animal, they apply a yellow spray over it. Following this, the creature begins to gain his senses and trembles on the ground.

The alert staff instantly grab his hind legs and toss a net on him. Then they lure him inside a green cage and confine it with appropriate help. The creature struggles for a while and glances at the onlookers.

Forest officials saved and rescued a male leopard from the Sahaspur forest range. They captured it by tranquillizing him with a dart. The rescue operation was led by a team of forest department personnel, headed by Ravi Joshi, the rescue leader.
