This footage was filmed and produced 23 January 2021.
Protests demanding the release of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny erupted in cities across Russia on Saturday, with a demonstration in Moscow extending into the evening.

At least 2,100 people, including a politician, have been detained. Of those, at least 700 people were detained in the capital Moscow and a further 300 in St Petersburg.
Thousands of people gathered in central Moscow to march from central Pushkin Square to the Kremlin. The Interior Ministry estimated 4,000 people attended.

Translation of the video: "Attention ladies and gentlemen, 15 minutes to the rally. [00:15]
We can observe that the number of cops exceeds the number of oppositionists by at least two times. [00:12]
We can also observe a crowd of people's vigilantes. I do not know what they are going to do here, but at least they do not want to share their stripes with me. [00:25] Here we can see a crowd of people with cameras, surrounded by one person with a poster "Freedom to Navalny" and a crazy pro-Putin woman, who is unfortunately not visible from here. She swears at the reporters. The wildlife of the rallies is amazing. [00:42] Now the cops were surrounded by journalists. I wonder who they'll be the first to detain. [00:51] [01:15]Another man was detained, who simply expressed his opinion, did not even insult anyone. [01:19] Russia is a free country. [01:23] Here's another person taken away. [01:26] I've counted five so far. [01:32] Look at these cops. They're like ducklings following each other. Where is their mom-cop? [01:53] And another one is being searched. It's already 6 or 7. [01:58] The rally has been going on for 45 minutes, I'm tired of filming, because everything is monotonous here. Someone says something, someone stands, someone farted wrongly and is taken away. [02:08] Comrades of the police are standing there like ducklings and there is not enough mother duck to do something. [02:15] In general, do not go to protest, if you do not want to get into the prison trucks. [02:20] Look, they're looking for a new victim. I wonder how quickly they'll detain someone. Less than a minute has passed since I turned on the video, they are already detaining somebody. [02:29] But no, they didn't. [02:41] Well, this is how the paddy wagon looks from the inside, I was still taken away. Here are the guys sitting with me, I don't know how long they will let us go or not let us go. [04:06] There's a lot of people just standing there watching us leave. [04:13] Everyone here is happy and cheerful. [04:18] But for those who want to go on a tour after the prison truck directly to the station, this is what it looks like from the inside. It seems decent, everything is clean here. The people are friendly, the staff is good, I advise you. Contests are interesting.[04:47]"
