King cobra escaped from the delivery package, almost killing a courier in Indonesia.

Footage filmed in Semarang city, Central Java province, on January 16, shows a 2 meters-long king cobra among a pile of packages inside a courier box car.

When it was about to be removed from the car, the snake, whose mouth was not tied, tried to sneak into the pile of packages.

This snake allegedly escaped from a package that was not properly wrapped as the courier also found a brown cardboard box with a hole, with the information that the contents of the package were live reptiles sent from Semarang to Surabaya, East Java.

Contacted by the courier, two members of the reptile-loving community from PetDIY managed to evacuate the snake from the car.
