Elephant mother and calf duo spotted grazing in Sri Lanka
An elephant mother and calf duo was spotted grazing amid pastures in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka on the afternoon of January 16. The incident took place in the Minneriya National Park.
A video witnessing the incident features the duo stationed amid a green field.
The jumbos stand next to each other and continue grazing while flapping their ears occasionally. The mother elephant establishes a sense of protection as she chases after a jeep full of onlookers when they decide to get a closer look at the baby elephant.
The magnificent creatures continued to stroll the forest cover while munching on the greens. The elephant mother and calf duo are one of many attractions of the National Park.
